Written & directed by Gemma Lee
Jamie is left for dead after a hit and run. Lost and alone, he finds his way to a train station where he meets the enigmatic Charlotte. The hours pass, and with no train in sight, their connection grows and they begin to realize that their meeting may not be as random as they first thought.
Heaven won ‘Best Script’ and ‘Best Overall Production’ at the VCA awards night and screened at the Academy ® accredited short film competition Flickerfest in Sydney.

THE WAKE
Directed by Gemma Lee
Written by Charlie Clausen
Jonathan, a well-meaning but hopeless misfit, makes an unexpected arrival at the wake of his best friend’s father. Initially intending to offer his support, Jonathan instead retreats to the front yard, uncomfortable with the outpouring of grief from the mourners. He meets Charles, the eight-year-old son of the deceased, who is also hiding out and the two of them form an unlikely friendship.
The Wake was selected to screen at Palm Springs ShortFest in June 2009 and was chosen as an audience favourite for 'Best of The Fest', with an encore screening at the end of the festival.
